Producer Newt Wallen approached various filmmakers to each create a short comedy skit based on original grind house-explotive style movie trailers to be packaged together in one film 'MIDNIGHT SHOW'

Each outlandish faux trailer, when completed, were showcased at independent theaters nationwide. Other titles included 'Gore-Rilla' and 'Rug Muncher' and every trailer featured it's own illustrated movie poster. 

Sensing most of the other directors attached to this project will lean on sex, blood and guts, I decided to go in the opposite direction and take inspiration from Italian Star Wars rip-offs and Xanadu - resulting in the musical fantasy PLANET MIRRORBALL!

 

Since PLANET MIRRORBALL received such a strong reaction from audiences that saw it played in theaters, a full feature is now being developed with a vetted screenplay already in place.
