A woman suspects the new man she is involved with could be the serial sniper terrorizing the region.
 

Her anxiety is compounded by the one photo of the murderer wearing the same kind of mask a gunman wore during a botched bank robbery that killed her mother. With a psychological need to act against another killer for vengeance, she risks accusing an innocent man who loves her.  

 

While the terror rises, she doesn't realize that the killers are part of plot to instigate Holy Rapture and bring about the Second Coming.
